Popnin

Terms of use

Popnin is a free, sponsored service. These terms keep it usable for everyone.

The service

  • Provided as is, without warranty or guaranteed availability. We may change or discontinue it at any time.
  • Meetings are limited in length and in number of participants, and the service has a monthly capacity. When it is reached, new joins are refused until the following month. Current limits are shown in the app.
  • Invitations are limited per host per day to prevent abuse.

Your responsibilities

  • Only invite people who want to hear from you. Sending unsolicited invitations is not allowed.
  • Keep personal invitation links private and treat them as the keys they are. If you require a meeting code, share it only with your invitees, by a channel other than the invitation email.
  • Do not use the service for anything unlawful, harassing, or harmful, or to infringe others' rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses, or bypass its limits.

Encryption and moderation

Meetings are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot see or hear them and therefore cannot moderate their content. What we can do is act on reports: accounts reported by several participants are paused automatically, and repeated reports permanently block the email address from hosting or joining meetings. Blocked addresses stay blocked. Hosts are responsible for who they invite and for the conduct of their meetings.

Accounts

Hosts sign in with their email address. You are responsible for access to that mailbox. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, or that are inactive for a long period.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of or inability to use the service, including missed or interrupted meetings.

Reporting abuse

Report misuse to . Include the invitation email or meeting details you have; we can act on invitation and account records without access to meeting content.
